Intro
Welcome in.
Last season was a success, Stefan scored 13 goals in a whirlwind season where he dragged his part time club Ull/Kisa to the title in Norway’s second tier.
We signed a couple of defensive midfielders after Stefan had concerns about squad depth in that area.
We’ve typed up his new contract and filled the pen with ink.
He bagged a few awards and soared up the all time goalkeeper scoring chart.

Crisis

Okay, I’ve got a week to sort this. I’m confident I can fix it. We’ve been promoted to the top flight and we are going Professional. Lots of reasons to stay.

Bloody agents, I’ll try and convince him to change agents. Note to self, strike Tore Hopen off the Christmas card list. He’s Torn my hopes up.

Well well well. I’ve never had this before. I thought I might have to sell him and follow him on. On the plus side He has a close relationship.
Continue the Saga
The save is all about Stefan so after a lot of thought I’m going to add a new manager at a professional club that possibly should be doing better than they are. I have really enjoyed building Ull/Kisa up and we have a lot of young talent with potential. I was able to resign the young Argentine Keeper that could develop into the role.

I’d spent a lot of time prepping for the new season and overhauling the staff and training so I’ll need to get in a club that can realistically sign Stefan and get them ready for the season ahead.
I’ll put the Ull/Kisa manager on Holiday mode and keep an eye on them from a distance. At the very least I’d like to keep them up. I looked at replacing the assistant manager as he didn’t have good good manager attributes to help cover the holidaying. Jamie Clapham will be trusted to keep things ticking over and if Stefan goes off the boil then maybe Federico could be the new hope as he has plenty of years ahead of him. I’ve also been able to sign Albert Braut Tjaland and resigned Jonatan Braut Brunes, both on loan. It would be fun to play Erling Haaland’s cousins together.
New club
Stefan was considered a leading second tier player at Ull/Kisa. I wanted a professional club and they had to be under performing. After a quick scan of the top two divisions I decided to set up a new manager at Aalesunds.

They are in the second tier and finished 6th when predicted 2nd. They wear orange(my favourite colour) and are an established professional club. They have a bigger fan base and decent budgets in comparison to Ull/Kisa. They should be able to afford the wages.

Stefan has packed a Van and set off on an epic Journey. It looks like a wonderful place and I much prefer living on the coast.
Conclusion
There is a lot of hard work now to get the new club set up for Stefan. I’ll have to look at what we have and hopefully establish the same style of play. Hopefully he can hit the ground running and carry on last years form. On the plus side he gets another crack at the 2nd tier and he’ll have a full year training as a pro to help him develop.
