Intro
The aim of this save was to follow the progress of a goal scoring goalkeeper and help him achieve the status of all time highest goal scoring goalkeeper. I chose Stefan Hagerup of Ull/Kisa in Norway’s second tier. After two seasons he decided he wanted to move on to even though he helped the club achieve promotion after ending the season as the top scorer. I added a new manager and chose Aalesund also in the Norwegian 2nd tier to secure his services and hope continue the Journey. Although a bigger club in stature the playing staff was not up to the job of providing Stefan the platform to build on and it took a good 18 months to improve the situation and develop some youngsters into the team. The last episode ended in the 3rd season at Aalesund with the club missing out on promotion through the playoffs.
At the tender age of 32 Stefan had broken into the top 10 of all time goalkeeping scorers. The next aim was to get ahead of Marcio in the list as we had him as a 40 year old in the first season. I planned to get a few seasons done and update the progress but my plans have a habit of being scuppered.
